I know, I should be better about posting. Where does all the time go?
Jacob would like you all to know the following:
-he's very excited for Chanukah.
-he thinks Dice-K is going to dominate the american league
-he can poop through multiple layers of clothing without breaking a sweat
-he still refuses to sleep through the night 

Friday night in Sharon

Jake and his pal Matthew got to hang out on Friday night while their parents enjoyed some fantastic Stephano's pizza. Good times.

Turkey Day

Jacob was unavailable for this picture, but he asked that we put this picture up to show all the people who joined him for his first Thanksgiving. He also wanted to thank everyone for helping out his parents who were hosting their first Thanksgiving. The food was excellent and the family was even better. 

I'm psyched for (metabolized) turkey (milk)!

When we told Jacob that we were going to have Thanksgiving at our house, he was thrilled.

As he starts to do more things, other than sleep and eat, the movies should get more interesting.

I wanted to post this movie weeks ago... but i couldn't find the cord to connect the camera to the computer... Alyson found it today... So here you go!

A whole week!

I let a week go by without posting. I'm better than that. As you can see, Jacob has started to smile... alot. He particularly enjoys the changing table. I suppose the prospect of a clean diaper is better than wallowing in one's own... well you get the picture.

Thundercats... Ho!!!!

We're in the kitchen in Natick, the J-man is with his bubbe, having a bottle and a smile. Hopefully we'll eat soon, we're all hungry, except Jacob. Uncle Rossy is leaving for Vermont tomorrow, sad...

2 Months

Just a quick note... we went to the doctor last night for Jacob's 2 month appointment. The doctor says that he looks great! He had his first 3 shots (which he took like a man, a very small man). He weighs 11lbs. 8 oz., up from 9lbs. 10 oz. 1 month ago. He's also up to 22 3/4 inches long, dangerously close to 2 whole feet tall!

Halloween Night

So we didn't go out trick-or-treating... instead Jake's friend Olivia came over and hung out for a while. The doorbell rang many more times that it did last year... Corey had enough of the doorbell and tried to scare away the neighborhood kids with his 'vicious' bark... we actually ran out of candy and had to shut off our light just after 7pm, how embarrassing.

Halloween

Jacob's first Halloween... He's a very small chicken. Not sure that he's going to out trick-or-treating tonight, but if he does, you can be sure that his daddy will eat ALL the candy he gets.

Freaky

This is one of several posts that should have been up weeks ago... Check out this picture, the right is an ultrasound taken a short 35 hours before Jacob was born... the right is a picture taken on 9/16... I guess they should look similar, but its still wild to think that the ultrasound image was created THROUGH Alyson.

7 weeks

Our little man is 7 weeks old today. Well, tonight at 10:57, he'll be 7 weeks. At this point he's starting to grow out of the first clothes we bought for him. He was 9 lbs 10 oz. at his Dr. appt a couple weeks ago, so now we figure he's close to 11 pounds.
In other news last night he slept in his crib for a stretch of almost 5 hours. A JGG record. His parents are pleased. Lastly, his eyes are still very blue. His mom is convinced they will remain blue... I hope they do, but Daddy is not convinced quite yet.

Here we go

I'm a new dad and I'm looking for the easiest way to get pictures and stories to my friends and family... Maybe this will work.

Jacob Gus Greene was born at 10:57pm on September 7, 2006.
He was 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and very cute, right from the start.
