Ready for Bathtime

Can you believe he's nearly 6 months old? I can't.
He's been eating very well of late. He loves oatmeal and although he wasn't sure at first, he seems to like sweet potatoes and carrots too. I'm amazed by the sheer quantity of food this guy can put away.

In other news, he's getting close to being able to sit up by himself, but not quite yet. He's nearing 16lbs. (by our inaccurate scale) and we're also getting ready to bump him up to the size 3 diapers.

In the past week he's been very busy travelling around and visiting his Papa who's recovering from surgery.... Baby J-bop would like to wish his Papa a speedy recovery!

Happy Birthday Cousin Rebecca

For anyone who doesn't know, this is Rebecca, and today is her 2nd birthday. We are all very excited to go to her birthday party this morning. I hear there will be bagels and lox, so I'm particularly giddy.

FOOD!

Big news, today Jacob ate real food. Well, that is if you call 'rice cereal n' milk' real food... Either way we put it on a spoon and he ate it. He was very good at it too. (Thrilling) Video and pictures will follow soon.
As can be expected some went in his mouth, and some went elsewhere. Jacob would like to publicly thank his friend Olivia for offering her box of rice cereal. She was nice enough to offer it up after realizing that she hated it. Don't worry about her, she's moved on to bigger and better things, like CHICKEN!
