Who knew?
I just learned that I can post via text message... I'll have to teach baby Jabop how to type. If I haven't already mentioned it, Jacob's cousin Rebecca calls him baby Jabop. The name has really stuck.

Almost Home
So I've been in Florida for the last week, attending an appraisal class. Exciting stuff. Finally its time to head home, back to my little man. Its surprising just how much you can miss someone that you've only known for 4+ months. I hope he recognizes me... I spoke to him a couple times on the phone, you wouldn't know it but he's quite the conversationalist, the word is that he appeared to recognize my voice, so I've go that going for me.

4 months
So we went to the Dr. this morning. Good report from Dr. Elissa Rottenberg. The Jake is up to 14 lbs, 3 oz, and has stretched out to 25" long. Yet another long lean Greene.
He had 3 more shots today as well... imagine his surprise, everything is going along just fine, hanging with dad at the Dr.'s office when two nurses come in and suddenly jab needles into both thighs at the same time... and then, one of the nurses comes back for round 2. Jake, being the tough little infant that he is, fought through the pain, the quick crying outburst lasted less than 20 seconds and then he was fine and ready to go home.
He napped like a champion today and managed to stay up until almost 9pm. Here's to sleep!
