DO NOT, under any circumstances, allow Jacob to see this picture. Clearly this is a vicious wild animal that could attack at any moment... Ok so the kid is very afraid of elephants. We're not sure what the fear is all about, he is not brave. He doesn't like bugs very much either. At least with bugs he'll usually say, 'bye bye bug' where with the elephant he just says "NOOO NOOO" over and over again while digging his fingers into who ever is close by.

Frightening.

Did one escape from a zoo and land in Newton? Where was Jacob when he found out he was scared of elephants?
You know this blog posting is going to come up when Jacob is in therapy years from now... How his Dad made light of his fears! :)
